The Suppressive and the Potential Trouble Source

There is a specific condition called Potential Trouble Source. It is defined as one who is subject to a suppression and who can't do anything about it to fight back. (By use of the initials, an individual under such a condition is also referred to as PTS, and the condition as PTSness.) There can be many a reason why one can't do anything about it, but chief amongst them is that one is not aware of being suppressed – one does not detect suppression for what it is: suppression; or one considers one can’t do anything about it – that consideration prevents any attempt and thus any possible success: apathy. To that degree, one is a potential trouble source: one is liable to make mistakes, to cause troubles, maybe convinced to be doing the right thing or the only possible thing.

This condition is one of the factors with the highest importance along our path; why? Because there is no limit to the damage the potential trouble sources can cause. Serious, huge, make−or−break troubles. Examples? Fanatics, child soldiers, taxpayers, victims, the unhealthy, you get the idea. But this is just to begin with… in fact:

A very important observation is that the one on the stage, causing the commotion, actually carrying out the destruction, is the potential trouble source – not just potential any more now, actually. The real suppressive is the one hidden in the backstage, only apparently doing nothing. The conspicuous puppet and the invisible puppet master.

Another very important observation is that the real suppressives are a minority, and the suppressive has no actual force of his or her own; all of his or her force is that of those he or she can turn into potential trouble sources. That’s why in my view being a potential trouble source is even far more a serious matter than being suppressive: if it wasn’t for the potential trouble source, the suppressive would be harmless. Like a scorpion skewered and sealed into a shadow−box by our awareness.

The Suppressive and the Potential Trouble Source, 2

A suppressive permanently sees anyone else as an active enemy to either kill or be killed by, and potential trouble sources are suppressed enough to relay and amplify the suppressive's intention instead of detecting it and stopping it; consequently, as long as there are unhandled suppression and PTSness, whatever social structure such as governments will be constantly twisted to aim at absolute power, absolute control, and ultimately at suppression. Simple as that.

The basic reason why good things and decent civilisations don’t last, the basic reason for failures and troubles and wars, is this, and only this: too much PTSness. That is, too many of us too much PTS, and that’s all.

Speaking of the root of things, more commonly known as common denominator, or as constant as opposed to variables, it has been said that the tendency of all human governments is to reduce the bulk of society to mere automatons of misery. And it has been said as well that the fundamental crime is BEING THERE AND COMMUNICATING. We now know how a suppressive sees ALL his or her fellow humans, and why. It therefore becomes obvious and crystal clear why there is such a universal tendency, and why there is such a fundamental crime in the first place. Suppression? Not exactly; not quite. PTSness. Too much PTSness. Too many of us too much PTS.

A further very important observation is that the source of suppression is always an individual, never an idea, a thing, a condition, or whatever else. As I previously said, things do not just happen, things are caused, and the ultimate causative factor are individuals: when someone is hammered like a nail, the intention is in the hand, not in the hammer. Consequently, when the oppression seems to trace back to an idea, a thing, a condition, or whatever else, the ensuing question is: who? Whose hand is handling the hammer, which someone is using that something to hammer someone else?

The Suppressive and the Potential Trouble Source, 3

The expression, “A is PTS to B” means that A is subject to a suppression originating from B; as the expression become commonplace it may be used indicating as B a something instead of a someone. It is up to our alertness to never lose sight that when B is a something, then it implicitly implies a someone behind that something. One is not PTS to a degraded state; one is PTS to whom ensures one remains in that state, be it self or anyone else.

A suppressive is one who originates a suppressive pressure against one’s fellows; a potential trouble source is one who receives that pressure and, instead of prevent its spreading by detecting it and stopping it, relays it against self and others. A suppressive is cause, a potential trouble source is effect instead of being cause.

But what’s even worse is that the potential trouble source does not restrict himself or herself to relay, which is already inexcusable in itself, but, as if that were not enough, he or she amplifies it. And we know that the power of the signal getting out of an amplifier equals a thousand, a million times the power of the signal entering it.

Some say, "Sign of the times", but that is a misnomer. Things are caused. And intention is cause. There is no "sign of the times"; there is "sign of PTSness", "sign of apathy", "sign of apathy from unhandled PTSness".

The suppressive is the cause responsible for the potentially lethal disease, the potential trouble source is the cause responsible for its actually lethal epidemics, each one of us is the cause responsible for allowing any potential trouble source to be and do so. And on top of it all, the lid of the trap will be sealed by the personality shift of the victims assuming the identity of the oppressor.
